About the company
A partner in keeping Indian industry running
We are a full-service industrial solutions provider. We help large corporations and process plants across India work more productively, spend less and run reliably, with market-leading products, solutions and services from all over the world.
We began in 1977 as manufacturers, and built the first refrigerated air dryer made in India. Today we supply refrigerated and desiccant dryers, coalescing and particulate filtration, condensate management, industrial cooling, dehumidification and measurement instruments. Our own engineers test, commission and service what we supply, and whatever else your plant needs, we’ll source it for you.

Nearly five decades in the making
From a factory in Andheri East to partnerships with some of Europe’s leading manufacturers.

1977
Where it all began
Mr. Dhiraj Bhimjibhai Mehta, a University of Michigan graduate in mechanical and industrial engineering (1961), founded Pace with a manufacturing facility in Andheri East, Mumbai. There we built heat exchangers, pressure vessels and compressed air products: aftercoolers, moisture separators, air receivers, air dryers and filters.

1983–1988
Trusted by India’s OEMs
We supplied our products to some of India’s leading original equipment manufacturers. In the mid-80s we began working directly with the plants that use compressed air, as well as the OEMs that supply them.

1991–1996
Partnering with Europe
In 1991 our office and factory moved to Andheri West. In 1994 we became the marketing partner in India for SABROE (Ultratroc), Germany, for dryers, and in 1996 for WALKER, UK, for filters.

1997–1999
New factories
Running out of space, we moved the factory to Vasai in 1997 and set up a new factory in Silvassa the following year. We also formed partnerships with LASOR, Germany, and VOKES, UK.

2000–2018
Bringing the best to India
In 2000 we closed our manufacturing operations and turned fully to marketing, bringing high-end European industrial products to Indian industry.

Vile Parle West
Our office moved to Vile Parle West, Mumbai, where we remain today, serving plants right across India.

Three generations, one standard

Chairman
Mr. Dhiraj B Mehta
Founded Pace in 1977. A 1961 graduate of the University of Michigan, USA, with degrees in mechanical and industrial engineering. Designed the first refrigerated air dryer built in India and oversaw its construction.

Mr. Anish D Mehta
Entered the business young and brings over 41 years in compressed air. A physics graduate of Bombay University, and the builder of the international partnerships our product range rests on.

Mr. Shanai A Mehta
The third generation at Pace. A BSc in Management with Honours from Warwick Business School, UK, then three years at KPMG before joining the business. Leads the work of expanding our products and services with newer technology.
